A session might involve the application of still or moving postures, supported postures, breath work, relaxation, meditation and mindfulness practices.

Differs from yoga classes as it is structured towards the holistic needs of the individual, or small groups of individuals with similar needs.

Benefits mental health by helping people manage such things as stress, symptoms of anxiety and depression, insomnia, and sobriety maintenance.

Promotes Wellness by meeting people where they are in their health journey, including improving quality of life for people with diagnosed physical health conditions.

Restorative Yoga Therapy in Living Well With Cancer Program

Cancer affects the whole body, mind and spirit. Besides the physical stresses of the disease, cancer patients and survivors can struggle with stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and loss.

Luckily Restorative Yoga is not your typical gym membership Yoga. In this compassionate therapeutic practice, you can have a calm and stress reducing experience. That is why we have incorporated a 60-minute Group Restorative Yoga class into our weekly program.
