Jim Anderson, MS, LP, has worked with children and families in school settings since 1992, almost exclusively with preschool through fifth grade. He is an expert at understanding the relationship between mental health and educational success, and his experience includes twelve years of working with preschool and kindergarten-aged children, and many more years with elementary aged children of diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Jim is well-versed in not only identifying but also differentiating the various characteristics, needs and strengths of children with anxiety, social difficulties, and attention problems, and he can readily plan interventions, provide therapy, and identify programming needs for children with anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit disorders, and learning disabilities. He enjoys developing creative solutions for the support and treatment of children with emotional and behavioral needs.

Personal Blurb: Jim has three adult children and likes dogs. He thoroughly enjoys sailing, sailboat racing, and winning sailboat races.
