Alison Lundberg, Psy.D, enrolled in University of St. Thomas’ MA in Counseling Psychology with direct admittance to PsyD in 2016. I earned my doctorate in the summer of 2022. I enjoy both psychological testing and therapy. Both provide avenues for clients to learn about themselves. Those insights allow clients to replace old thought patterns and coping mechanisms with ones that will be more effective in their current circumstances, leading to a more fulfilling life.
I am so honored to be a therapist. People trust me with their stories, their hurts, and their proudest moments. I see each therapy or testing session as an act of great trust by the client to let me into their world. I approach therapy from a Relational-Cultural model, integrating your values, history, personality, and strengths with what we learn from our time together. I hope to help you learn to help yourself in new ways that work for your lifestyle. Together, we can work toward a life worth living.
